Exciting Updates and Reminders from Dryad Counseling
Hello and Happy New Year from Dryad Counseling!
As we move into a fresh year, I wanted to share some exciting updates and reminders to help everything run smoothly for you in 2025.
New Waitlist Option
I’m thrilled to announce a new waitlist feature for online scheduling! This option gives you the chance to snag an earlier appointment time if one opens up.
How It Works:
When booking your appointment, select “Yes” to join the waitlist for an earlier time slot.
If a cancellation occurs, I’ll text the first person on the list, who will have up to 60 minutes to respond.
If I don’t hear back, I’ll move to the next person.
Additional Details:
Waitlist offers won’t be made for appointments less than three hours away.
Accepting an earlier spot replaces your original appointment. We’ll schedule your next session when we meet.
Saying “no” to a waitlist offer won’t impact your future bookings.
This is a new feature, so I’ll be fine-tuning it as needed.
Insurance Changes for 2025
Insurance plans often update at the start of the year, including deductibles, copays, and coverage. If you’re using insurance through Headway, updated details should appear starting January 1, but some plans may take longer to process.
What to Do:
If your plan has changed, update your insurance info through Headway as soon as possible to avoid billing surprises.
If costs feel overwhelming, reach out to me before your next appointment. We can discuss pausing therapy, ending it temporarily, or finding more affordable options together.
No Action Needed:
If you’re on CareSource or Ambetter and your plan hasn’t changed, you’re all set!
Updating Client Information
I’m asking all current clients (anyone who has had at least one session) to complete a new intake form. This updated form includes revised policies, procedures, and pricing details for the new year.
What You Need to Do:
Complete the intake form by January 31st: https://forms.gle/FDGdPBEjvnrPjbAg8
If the form isn’t completed by the deadline, I’ll need to cancel upcoming appointments until it’s done.
If three months pass without completion, I’ll need to discharge you as a client.
Your Rights:
You can refuse to provide updated information. If you choose this option, please inform me, and I’ll process your discharge before the three-month period ends.
